In a bizarre collaboration that breaks conventional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal statement, "An unusual meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of forbidden rituals and monstrous changes reverberate through the darkness." The narrative features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden cult.
The mission concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the mission will obtain an exclusive katana together with several items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
